Professor Salome Maswime will deliver her Inaugural Lecture, titled “From caesarean section-related complications to global surgical systems strengthening”, at 17:00 SAST on 12 July 2023.

On Thursday, 9 May 2024 at 17:30 SAST, Professor Seymour will deliver her inaugural lecture titled “Calling for a systems approach to technology in organisations”.

On Wednesday, 22 May 2024 at 17:30 for 18:00 SAST, Professor Hermon Chitonge will deliver his inaugural lecture titled “Reclaiming economic sovereignty in Africa”.

UCT’S Hasso Plattner School of Design Thinking Afrika building has been awarded the 2023 South African Institution of Civil Engineering Technical Excellence Project of the Year Commendation Award.
